With September nearing, it is almost that time of year again for the global business and innovation platform dmexco @dmexco, one of the biggest events in the tech world calendar. For the fourth year in a row, the team here at Osmii will be attending the international expo and conference which brings together outstanding speakers from all ends of the digiconomy. The Osmii team are excited to learn, be inspired and network with other tech specialists about the top digital trends of 2016.

Dmexco 2016 will once again connect businesses with visionary trends of the digital world. Here at Osmii we aim to always plan ahead leaving just over a month to prepare, pin pointing the best speakers and debates. The key trends that emerged from last year were programmatic, big data, content marketing and using connected data to drive better customer experience. We feel that this year these trends will continue but with more development of connecting devices and targeting individuals.

The speakers at the dmexco Conference 2016 will include the some of the most important pioneers and visionaries from the global marketing, media, and advertising business. Out of 100 seminars, we have rounded up the top talks that Osmii will be attending…

“HOW DATA DRIVES VALUE” presented and debated by Greg Glenday from Shazam, Warren Jenson from Acixom, Bob Lord from IBM, William Swayne from Carat and Lisa Utzschnider from Yahoo.

We are now a world made up of Big Data as today marketers have more data at hand than ever before, and the incredible volume of information about customers and consumers is growing every day. Marketers are now able to track and match data with smart marketing technology. However, in many cases targeting is still weak. The questions we will have answered will be- What do we need in order to identify and manage valuable customer data so that we can increase our business impact? How can consumer and customer data be connected across all channels and be used to create the ideal customer experience? We look forward to listening to five global leaders to learn how they effectively identify and handle data dynamics and how they create value through data.

“THE PROGRAMMABLE AGE – SMARTER ADS FOR A COMPLEX WORLD” presented by Ivan Guzenko at Smartyads, Michael Rubenstein at Appnexus, Dan Taylor at Google.

Once again programmatic is the talked about word of the year. We are now a world made up of music and video streaming, machine learning, interactive gaming, IoT, the cloud, and VR. “Smart ads” are now possible because their creators are able to adjust advertising to time, location, and personal needs through deep learning systems. This results in higher response, happier advertisers, and a great customer experience. So what we aim to learn is are we really entering a new age?
