For the second year running our Marketing Manager Grace Coleman and Principal Consultant Simon Gregory will be attending the eCommerce Expo 2016. An unmissable opportunity to network, connect and learn alongside fellow industry professionals about the future of eCommerce.
In-between our meetings, browsing the stands and meeting new and familiar faces of the companies exhibiting, we are keen to attend a number of talks to learn more about the future and current trends of eCommerce. Our first talk of interest is ‘The no-compromise approach to Omni-channel retailing’ presented byJean-Paul Chauvet who is the President at Lightspeed. As we all know, Omni-channel is viewing the experience through the eyes of your customer, organising the customer experience across all channels so that it is seamless, integrated and consistent. This experience is enriching eCommerce and reshaping retail and we look forward to learning more about it.
The second talk we are interested in attending is called “The future of marketing will build itself” presented by Jeremy Waite, the EMEA IBM Evangelist at IBM Marketing Cloud. There are so many trends and predictions for the future of marketing, with a few discussions of robots taking our jobs. We are looking forward to hearing the future for marketeers and hear Jeremy discuss how the most innovative marketing technologies will not replace us, but will help marketing teams to build deeper and more meaningful relationships with their customers faster than ever before.
To round up our day of debates we will be attending the talk on “How to predict your customer’s next move with the power of data” presented by Laura McHenry, Marketing Director and Roisin Campbell, Head of Strategy from RedEye. Data is an essential element for digital marketeers. Communicating with your customers in those crucial moments has never been more important. Many customers have high expectations of the brands they interact with. They want to receive personalised, relevant, timely communications through their preferred channels at the moments that can really help them. If you analyse your customers’ behaviour, understand their individual journey you will be ahead of the game. We are looking forward to learning more about the strategies and tools needed to get these results.
